Airmail on macOS 26 (Tahoe): app crashes and printing or Email-to-PDF problems

If you are running macOS 26 (Tahoe) and Airmail crashes, will not open, or has trouble printing emails or saving them as PDF (for example the printout or PDF shows only the subject line, or the text appears in a narrow column on the left), the steps below usually help while full compatibility updates continue to roll out.
Keep Airmail up to date. Most macOS 26 issues are resolved simply by updating Airmail: open the App Store, go to Updates, and install any pending Airmail update. New builds are released regularly to improve compatibility with the latest version of macOS.
If Airmail crashes. After updating, fully quit Airmail (Airmail > Quit Airmail), reopen it, and restart your Mac once. If a crash report window appears, please send it to Apple, as these reports help us identify the cause. If crashes continue, note what you were doing when it happened (for example replying to a message or opening an attachment), which helps us reproduce and fix the issue.
If printing or Email-to-PDF looks wrong. Make sure you are on the latest Airmail version, then try printing or exporting to PDF again. If the output still shows only the subject line or a misaligned column, this is a rendering issue we are actively addressing, and the most recent builds include improvements to the printing and PDF engine.
Try the beta build. Fixes for the newest macOS versions often reach our beta first. You can join the macOS beta here: https://airmailapp.com/beta_macos_subscribe.html . The beta is installed alongside your App Store version through Apple's TestFlight.
