# Contacts | Set as VIP


| This article will focus on setting a contact as a VIP contact.

###### The advantages of a VIP contact:

1. It appears in the Sidebar Menu 
2. Notification can be set to be allowed only for VIP contacts.
3. Mail items are grouped under the a VIP contact


###### Set contact as a VIP

1. Tap the menu icon ≡ in the top left corner on the app, which will reveal the menu.
2. Tap on Contacts.
3. Tap on All Contacts.
4. Scroll to the contact and tap on it.
5. A summary of the contact will now be display.
