Emails Being Sent Blank or Without Content

Problem

When you compose and send an email in Airmail, the recipient receives a blank email with no body text, even though you typed content before sending.

Solution

Step 1: Check Your Signature Settings

Sometimes a signature conflict can cause the email body to be stripped:

1. Go to Settings → Signatures
2. Try disabling your signature temporarily
3. Send a test email to yourself
4. If the email arrives with content, the issue is related to your signature format

Step 2: Reset the Composer

1. Quit Airmail completely (Cmd+Q on Mac)
2. Reopen Airmail
3. Compose a new email and send a test

Step 3: Check Formatting

• If you're pasting content from another app, try using Paste as Plain Text (Cmd+Shift+V)
• Rich text formatting from external sources can sometimes cause rendering issues

Step 4: Update Airmail

Make sure you're running the latest version of Airmail from the App Store. This issue has been addressed in recent updates.

Step 5: Re-add Your Account

If the problem persists:

1. Go to Settings → Accounts
2. Remove the affected email account
3. Re-add it
4. Test sending again
