# How to Create Email Rules and Filters

You can create rules in Airmail to automatically filter, move, or organize your emails:

1. Go to **Airmail Settings**
2. Navigate to the **Rules** section
3. Create a new rule with your desired conditions
4. To add multiple email addresses to a rule: **From > contains >** enter the email address, then press the **+** sign to add more

Rules can automatically move emails to specific folders, but note that marking emails as 'important' via rules is not currently supported.
