# How to Fix IMAP/POP Account Connection Issues

If your IMAP or POP email account is not connected or you are not receiving emails:

1. Go to **Airmail Settings > Accounts**
2. Double-click on the affected account
3. Make sure to enter the password in **both** the IMAP and SMTP fields
4. Save the settings and restart Airmail

Both fields must have the correct password for the account to send and receive emails properly.
