How to Set Up and Manage Signatures in Airmail

Problem

You want to create, edit, or manage email signatures in Airmail, or assign different signatures to different accounts.

Solution

Creating a Signature on macOS

  1. Go to Settings → Signatures
  2. Click + or Add Signature
  3. Enter a name for the signature
  4. Use the editor to compose your signature (supports rich text, images, and HTML)
  5. Use the formatting toolbar to adjust font, size, color, and add links

Creating a Signature on iOS

  1. Go to Settings → Signatures
  2. Tap Add Signature
  3. Compose your signature

Assigning Signatures to Accounts

  1. Go to Settings → Accounts → [Your Account]
  2. Under Signature, select which signature to use for that account
  3. You can assign different signatures to different accounts

Tips

  • You can create multiple signatures and switch between them when composing
  • When composing, click the signature icon to change the signature for that specific email
  • HTML signatures with images: use small image files to avoid bloating email size
  • Signatures sync between devices when iCloud sync is enabled
