How to Sync Airmail Settings Between Multiple Macs

Problem

You use Airmail on multiple Macs and want your settings, accounts, and preferences to sync between them.

Solution

Airmail uses iCloud Drive to sync settings between devices.

Requirements

  • Same Apple ID signed in on all Macs
  • iCloud Drive enabled on all devices
  • Airmail Pro subscription (required for multi-device sync)

How to Enable Sync

  1. On each Mac, go to System Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud
  2. Make sure iCloud Drive is enabled
  3. Open Airmail on each Mac
  4. Go to Settings → General
  5. Make sure "Sync with iCloud" or "iCloud Sync" is enabled

What Syncs

  • Account configurations
  • Signatures
  • Rules and filters
  • Preferences and settings

Troubleshooting

  • If sync doesn't work, make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID on both devices
  • Check that iCloud Drive has enough storage
  • Try disabling and re-enabling iCloud Sync in Airmail settings
  • If prompted to upgrade on the second device, verify your Pro subscription is active and you're using the same Apple ID
