How to Use Unified Inbox vs. Individual Accounts in Airmail
<h2>Problem</h2><p>You have multiple email accounts and want to understand how to switch between viewing all emails together (unified inbox) and viewing them separately.</p><h2>Solution</h2><h3>Unified Inbox</h3><p>By default, Airmail shows a <strong>Unified Inbox</strong> that combines all emails from all your accounts into one view.</p><ul><li>Click <strong>Inbox</strong> in the sidebar to see all emails</li><li>Emails from different accounts are color-coded (if Account Color is enabled)</li></ul><h3>Viewing Individual Accounts</h3><ol><li>In the sidebar, click the <strong>disclosure triangle</strong> next to each account name to expand it</li><li>Click on an individual account's <strong>Inbox</strong> to see only that account's emails</li><li>You can also expand to see individual folders (Sent, Drafts, Trash, etc.) per account</li></ol><h3>Customizing the Sidebar</h3><ol><li>Go to <strong>Settings → Favourites</strong></li><li>Here you can choose which folders appear in the unified view</li><li>You can hide or show specific accounts and folders</li></ol><h3>On iOS</h3><ol><li>Tap the sidebar/hamburger menu</li><li>You'll see both unified folders (All Inboxes) and individual account folders</li><li>Tap on a specific account to see only its emails</li></ol>
