# Interface | 3D Touch

3D Touch is fully utilised in the Airmail app for iOS.

This article showcases how 3D touch can be used.

###### 3D Touch Shortcuts

1. Tap (with pressure) and hold the Airmail icon on the home screen.  This will reveal 4 shortcut options.

2. Tap on the the shortcut to activate the action.

3. Airmail will now open ready to use the chosen action.

###### 3D Touch Feature in the app

###### Message Preview

1. To preview a message, simply tap and hold on any message in the Message List (Inbox). 

A windows will appear with the message preview.

2. While holding, swipe upwards to reveal message options.

3. The options currently available are:

a) Snooze
b) Reply
c) Trash

4. Release the hold, to exit the preview.
