Setting Up Spam Filter in Airmail

Problem

The user wants to set up spam filtering and organize spam emails in Airmail.

Solution

To enable the spam folder in Airmail:

• Go to Airmail Preferences → Favourites → Spam and enable it.

Important: Airmail does not have its own built-in spam filter. Spam detection relies entirely on your email server/provider (Gmail, Outlook, etc.). To improve spam filtering:

• Mark unwanted emails as spam — this trains your email provider's filter.
• Use your email provider's web interface to manage spam settings.
• Create rules in Airmail to automatically move emails from specific senders to the archive or trash.
