# Transfer or Clone a Message Between Accounts - Airmail for macOS

1. To ** Transfer a Message ** from one email account in Airmail to another email account, right-click on the 
 message within a folder, then select “Folder” > “Transfer to Account” > “Destination Account Name” > 
 “Destination Folder”.  This will “move” the message (not clone it) and it will no longer be available in the 
 original email account.  This action works for all email accounts, including local accounts.

 2. To ** Clone a Message ** from one email account in Airmail to another email account, right-click on the 
 message within a folder, then select “Folder” > “Clone to Account” > “Destination Account Name” > 
 “Destination Folder”.  This will “clone” the message (not move it) and it will still be available in the original 
 email account.  This action too, works for all email accounts, including local accounts.
