Mute Address - Airmail for iOS

Airmail now allows you to mute a particular address which will result in ceased notifications for all the 'Muted Addresses'.

How to mute an address?


Just open a message and tap the three dots button to access the actions. Choose 'Mute' from the list, the three dots action list is shown in the picture below.




OR

Just swipe to open up the 'Action List' as shown in the picture below.



Then choose 'Mute' from the list as shown in the picture below. (If you are not able to access the 'Action List' from the swipes, please customize the swipe actions in 'Airmail Settings > Swipes')



Please note that you can also add the 'Mute' action directly to the 'Swipes' from 'Airmail Settings > Swipes'.

How to see all the messages from the muted addresses in a single folder?


You can choose to see all the messages from the muted addresses in a single folder by following the procedure below.

Firstly go to Airmail Sidebar (folder panel) and tap on 'Edit' as shown in the picture below.



Then select 'Muted' from the list to appear in the sidebar as shown in the picture below.



This will allow you to see the 'Muted' folder in the folder panel to quick access all the related messages.

How to see the list of 'Muted Addresses'?


You can access the list of the muted addresses in 'Airmail Settings > Workflow Section > Muted Address' as shown in the picture below.



You can also choose to remove the addresses from this list by swiping left on the address that you wish to remove as shown in the picture below.
