Read Receipts - Airmail for iOS - Only for old users
Please note that the read receipts will not be available for the users who have bought the app from the App Store after the May 11, 2017 update
This article explains all about using 'Read Receipts' in Airmail. 'Read Receipts' feature is used by senders of an email to track the messages - whether they have been read or not.
Where to find the setting for 'Read Receipts'?
Please go to Airmail Settings as shown in the picture below.
 and you can also customize the number of preview lines you want to see in the message list.
To access this feature, please go to Airmail > Settings as shown in the picture below.

How to create a Smart folder on iOS version of Airmail
Please follow these steps to create a smart folder in iOS version.
Tap on the "Search" icon appearing at the top of the email list.
Select the Purple colored folder appear in place of Search icon.

How to block an address?
Just open a message and tap the three dots button to access the actions. Choose 'Block' from the list, the three dots action list is shown in the picture below.

The Airmail App on iOS and MAC OS X saves account information to iCloud, making it very simple to import these settings on a new device.
Although the settings are saved, permissions from mail accounts like GMAIL will need to be obtained again as the permissions are granted separately per device.
To retrieve your settings from iCloud, follow these steps.
If starting a new setup of Airmail, please choose Import from iCloud from the list:

Airmail 1.3 now has the new feature which allows iMessage on your iPhone to access the attachments from Airmail.
To access the Airmail attachments in iMessage, please follow the steps explained below.
Go to iMessage and tap on the App Store icon as shown in the picture below.
Then tap on the four dots icon as shown in the picture below.
 and hold the Airmail icon on the home screen. This will reveal 4 shortcut options.

Airmail will now open ready to use the chosen action.
