Does Airmail support read receipts for iOS?

Airmail for iOS does not support read receipts from the new downloads after May 11, 2017. For users who have bought the app before May 11, 2017 you can find the documentation here.

Two Step/Factor Authentication - Airmail for macOS

If you have an account enabled with the two step authentication method, then you may require an app specific password to operate the account with Airmail as explained below.

iCloud Email Service

If you have an iCloud email address (with two step authentication enabled) and trying to add it to Airmail using your regular password you will get the following error.

To add the account, please follow these steps:

Please see this picture below and sign in the Apple ID page.

Then click on edit in the Security Section as shown in the picture

Then click on Generate Password as shown in the picture below

Then type in Airmail (to specify the name of the app as Airmail) in the box that appears and copy the generated password.
Paste the generated password as shown in the picture below.

Themes - Airmail for macOS

Airmail allows you to change themes of message list. The theme can be selected from 7 different themes under Appearance tab of Airmail Preferences as shown below:

In the above screenshot when you’d click on theme you will see there are different type of themes that allows you to change the style of message style, window style and composer style. Also note that changing themes may differ scrolling smoothness.

Add an Office 365 Email Account - Airmail for macOS

Accepted Answer

| Add Office365 account with Modern Authentication using the Office365 option present in the Airmail app.

Go to "Add your email account" window and then choose Office365 option.
Enter the details of your account in the window.
And then click on "Add".

| How to add Office365 accounts as Exchange account.

An Office 365 (office365) account can also be added as an Microsoft Exchange Account. To add an O365 account, follow these steps

Go to "Add your email account" window and then choose Exchange option.
Enter the details of your account in the window.
And then click on "Add".

If ask to enter Server info use the domain name in Server column. For example, in above case you have to use airmlr.com as server field

If ask to enter the Endpoint URL of account, please use https://outlook.office365.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx as URL for Office 365 account.

Rules in Airmail - Airmail for macOS

Airmail has the capability of creating multiple customized rules to suit any incoming or outbound filtering scenario. Basically, the rules in Airmail work similar to the rules in any other email client, using a series of IF/THEN options which can be tailored to suit your specific needs.

There are several possible rules that can be created by you to suit your needs, therefore, each part of the rules window is explained in the following article.

Rules are located in 'Airmail preferences > Rules tab as depicted in the following image.

After opening the Rules, you will get the following window,

Box #1

This box is the list of the rules that you have made in Airmail and each rule shows, whether it is Enabled/Disabled and saved to iCloud.

Here you can add/remove the rules in Airmail.

Here you can name your current selected rule from the list.
