Disable Conversations - Airmail for macOS

If you prefer not to use Gmail-style conversations in your inbox, Airmail gives you the option to disable Conversation View. When disabled, received and sent emails are shown as separate threads, rather than grouped together.


Please note that enabling or disabling the “Use Conversations” setting only affects how emails are displayed within Airmail’s database. It does not make any changes on the mail server itself.


In the following screenshot you need to uncheck ‘Use Conversations’:





Once you uncheck the “Use Conversations” option, Airmail will no longer group emails into threads. Instead, each message will appear separately in your inbox.
