How to Change Your Email Password (Not Managed by Airmail)

Answer

Airmail is an email client and does not manage your email account password. Your password is managed by your email provider (Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo, etc.).

How to Change Your Password

Gmail

1. Go to myaccount.google.com
2. Click Security
3. Under "Signing in to Google," click Password
4. Enter your new password

iCloud

1. Go to appleid.apple.com
2. Sign in and go to Sign-In and Security
3. Click Password and follow the instructions

Outlook / Microsoft 365

1. Go to account.microsoft.com
2. Click Security → Change password

After Changing Your Password

Once you've changed your password with your email provider:

1. Open Airmail
2. Go to Settings → Accounts
3. Select the account
4. You may be prompted to re-authenticate with the new password
5. For Gmail and Outlook (OAuth accounts), you may need to remove and re-add the account
