How to Delete a Stuck Draft with Large Attachment
<h2>Problem</h2><p>You have a draft email in Airmail with a large attachment that won't delete, or the draft is stuck and can't be discarded.</p><h2>Solution</h2><h3>Method 1: Delete from Draft Folder</h3><ol><li>Go to the <strong>Drafts</strong> folder in the sidebar</li><li>Find the stuck draft</li><li>Open it by clicking on it</li><li>Remove the attachment first by clicking the <strong>X</strong> next to the attachment name</li><li>Then click the <strong>Close</strong> button (X)</li><li>When prompted, select <strong>Discard</strong></li></ol><h3>Method 2: Right-Click Delete</h3><ol><li>Navigate to the <strong>Drafts</strong> folder</li><li><strong>Right-click</strong> on the stuck draft</li><li>Select <strong>Delete</strong> or <strong>Move to Trash</strong></li></ol><h3>Method 3: Delete via Webmail</h3><p>If the draft won't delete from Airmail:</p><ol><li>Log into your email via web browser (Gmail, Outlook, etc.)</li><li>Go to the <strong>Drafts</strong> folder</li><li>Delete the stuck draft from there</li><li>Return to Airmail and refresh (pull to refresh or Cmd+R)</li></ol><h3>Method 3: Clear Local Data</h3><p>As a last resort:</p><ol><li>Go to Airmail <strong>Settings → Accounts</strong></li><li>Select the affected account</li><li>Look for <strong>Reset Cache</strong> or <strong>Rebuild Mailbox</strong></li><li>This will re-sync with the server and should clear the stuck draft</li></ol>
