How to Report a Bug or Request a Feature in Airmail
Problem
You've found a bug in Airmail or want to suggest a new feature.
Reporting a Bug
Via Crisp Chat (Recommended)
- Visit airmailapp.com
- Click the chat icon in the bottom-right corner
- Describe your issue with as much detail as possible
- Include: your device, OS version, Airmail version, and email provider
Via Email
- Send an email to the Airmail support team
- Include screenshots or screen recordings if possible
- Mention the steps to reproduce the bug
What to Include in a Bug Report
- Device — Mac model, iPhone/iPad model
- OS Version — macOS 14.x, iOS 17.x, etc.
- Airmail Version — Found in Airmail → About Airmail (Mac) or Settings → About (iOS)
- Email Provider — Gmail, iCloud, Outlook, etc.
- Steps to Reproduce — Exactly what you did before the bug occurred
- Expected vs Actual — What should happen vs what actually happens
- Frequency — Does it happen every time or intermittently?
Requesting a Feature
- Use the same Crisp chat or email channel
- Describe what you'd like Airmail to do
- Explain your use case — why this feature would help you
- The development team reviews all feature requests
