How to Use Templates for Quick Replies in Airmail

Problem

You frequently send similar emails and want to create reusable templates in Airmail.

Creating Templates

On Mac

  1. Compose a new email with the content you want as a template
  2. Go to Format → Save as Template in the menu bar
  3. Give your template a descriptive name
  4. Click Save

On iPhone/iPad

  1. Compose a new email with your template content
  2. Tap the (more) menu
  3. Select Save as Template
  4. Name your template and save

Using Templates

On Mac

  1. Open a new compose window
  2. Go to Format → Insert Template
  3. Select your desired template
  4. The template content will be inserted into the email body
  5. Edit as needed before sending

On iPhone/iPad

  1. Start composing a new email
  2. Tap the menu
  3. Select Templates
  4. Choose the template to insert

Tips

  • Templates can include formatting, links, and images
  • Edit templates by going to Settings → Templates
  • Templates sync across devices via iCloud sync
  • Create templates for common responses like meeting confirmations, follow-ups, or thank you notes
