Using the Console Log to Debug an Issue - Airmail for macOS
Occasionally, in a support ticket request, an Airmail support staff member may ask you for the Console Log
for Airmail so we can debug the problem you have reported. Following is a simple procedure to obtain this
log and send it to us.
First, open the Console by clicking on “Spotlight” in the Menu Bar, type in “console” and hit “Return”.
This will open the Console.
Next, in the Console search window type “airmail” and all the log entries pertaining to Airmail will
appear in the log. At the lower right, the time period for Airmail entries should be defaulted to "Now". Use
this setting unless the support staff asks you for entries that are from a different time period.
Last, highlight all the entries in the console window and “Copy” them. “Paste” them into the support
ticket email and send them back to us.
