Default Composer - Airmail for macOS
Airmail offers three types of text editors: Rich Editor, Plain Text, and Markdown. Changing the composer type only affects Airmail and does not apply system-wide. Please note that the composer style must be set on a per-account basis in Account settings, allowing you to choose the editor you prefer for each account individually.
In the following screenshot there is an option that allows you to change the type of the composer:
This setting only applies to the selected account. If you want to use the same composer style across all accounts, you’ll need to adjust the setting individually for each account, as Airmail does not currently support changing the composer type globally for the entire app.
